Naval Academy Sailing is proud of the overwhelming support from Grads and we count several Flag Officers, a few Astronauts and many corporate leaders amongst those who developed their leadership skills at USNA under sail.
PARENTS
Parents are perhaps our most enthusiastic supporters—
and why not? They love to get updates from on the water
and track the great successes of the Midshipmen
throughout the sailing season.
VOLUNTEER COACHES
Due to the size and complexity of the Naval Academy sailing program, we are reliant upon the highly skilled volunteer coaches who help prepare the Offshore sailors for the challenges of big boat cruising and racing
RACE COMMITTEE
No Race Committee = No Racing.
We’re fortunate to have a cadre of local Race Committee volunteers who are highly skilled in the nuances of
laying a course and keeping it fair.
NAVAL ACADEMY SAILING FOUNDATION
The Sailing Foundation, a Maryland chartered 501c.3. non-profit foundation facilitates the donation of offshore racing boats and funds “margin of excellence” programs in support of Naval Academy sailing.
FALES COMMITTEE
The Sailing Foundation is assisted by an Advisory Committee consisting of an incredibly experienced cohort of retired flag officers, maritime industry leaders and racing champions.
